The unseen place exists apart from the transient. Written words, sacraments, traditions, institutions, systems of truth, creeds, thoughts, emotions --- all exist outside of the unseen place.

The unseen place is calm and peaceful. It is where intimacy with God is experienced. The mysteries of the kingdom are spoken there. "My sheep hear my voice." The still, small voice heard by Elijah in the cave speaks to us there.

The goodness and holiness in our lives originates from the unseen place. God's Presence flows outward from the unseen place and finds it's way into expression. "Out of his heart shall flow rivers of Living Water."

Do not be fooled by the noise and confusion around you. Do not listen to those who babble on about the importance of appearances. We have been given ears to hear. "To you has been given to know the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven."

The unseen place is within.
